      Not building any lists.

I know i should be but i think a different landing page would damage sales, well should i say it has. I have tried with this product but doesn't work.

Do you have your own product, or are you promoting someone else's product?

Ask yourself this: if you left everyhthing RIGHT NOW, would you still be getting sales in the future?

If yes, then cool, go do some more of the stuff you've already done

If no, find another way to promote

The challenge with your approach is there is no leverage. By direct linking to the selling site you "have all your eggs in one basket" - meaning the visit converts or it doesn't and you have nothing. Better might be to create a splash/capture page where you pre-sell the offer and even offer some type of BONUS if they pick up the product and send you a copy of the receipt. Another thing you can do is use a stealth pop-up script to make it appear the visitor has landed on the site but YOU capture the opt-in information. This at least gives you the leverage of being able to follow up and build a list - sale or no sale.

Have you thought about having a landing page review, backed by a blog where all your articles get put in? Do this, add a simple cloaked affiliate redirect, and concentrate on one method of traffic generation first, like the article writing.

I would also have a sign up form offering free information in a sidebar of your blog, use a 30 day free trial of aweber for $1 to see how things go.

I have just started doing affiliate marketing with articles using the tactics above.
