Not unless it is corrupted. Try downloading it again, or right click on the link and "save file as" and put it on your hard drive and right click it again and "extract to folder/file/"

Do you mean winzip is corrupt or the file your trying to extract?

if the file your trying to extract you could try and do a repair archive if winzip doesn't offer that go to rarlabs.com and download winrar that allows you to

First of all you should use 7-z, its better than winzip
There is a "reason why" at their website..

Then you try any of these rar repair tools..

I have arar it has worked fine for me on several occasions

If it doesn't help try downloading the zip file again,
because if you are downloading zip files using download manager
sometimes they show a CRC error during extraction.

Downloading again (normaly right click save as)
should fix the error if that is the case, and don't use DM.

        Hope this helps

Winrar or 7zip is superior, IMO.

I don't know if any of the other programs mentioned will help your problem, but I personally use FLzip.

It, too, is free like all the others, and it supports .rar files as well.

    it's 100% free at flzip.com

you can uninstall winzip and just let xp try with its compressed files built in feature, but i prefer flzip. Flzip will also try to repair the file as well.

After flzip, I would say 7zip is my next fave.

Yes, I have experienced Winzip files being corrupted. Try 7Zip, it's completely free and works quite well. Also has alot of of options.
