Help - Steve Fullman's WP Plugin

HI Warriors

I set up my website about 3 weeks ago and it has still not been indexed by google, my last websites were indexed in 3-7 days. On my latest one I used Steve Fullman's plugin and used a duplicate content as my first post but "uniqiefied" it. Has anyone had the same experiences, please let me know or advice me of what I can do, I am really worried.

Thanks

Did you change the privacy settings to make it public?

It's not default anymore...you have to manually do it.

In your WP admin panel click on settings on the right hand side, then click on Privacy. You should now see two options click on the top one - 'I would like my blog to be visible to everyone, including search engines (like Google, Sphere, Technorati) and archivers'

I've used Steve's plug in on new blogs, it seems to take a little longer than normal to get it indexed but it does work.

Be sure to get your link out there for a chance to have it crawled an added faster.

Try getting your link on some of the sites that has a good rank with google (be sure to stay clear of spamming, though).

Google might take some time to index files and the 3-7 days it used before is actually quite fast.

          Warmest regards,

I had no problem getting indexed using the plugin.

And I actually used his plugin on an older blog with no content, and within hours the article I "borrowed" was at the top of he google search - beating out the original version on ezine.

I use it too, I have it on two blogs, both are steadily gaining visitors.

A lot of my posts as well are beating out the original versions too!

Its a great plugin ... its awesome.

    Bless,

Unless you know what your doing I would advise
NOT using content found else where, it is much ...
much more difficult to get good rankings with Google.

    Best,

Can I remove the content and put on a fresh, would that help? I have two 500+ word articles there, at the moment, one duplicate and one fresh. what should I do? Im just afraid to put more stuff just incase it never gets indexed..Im looking for a way to reverse the whole thing and get my site indexed...

      Bess,

Yes changing the content will help, however it
may take a while. I will also mention that you may
not be getting indexed for many reasons, however
      the dup content is important.

Once Google see's that it is dup content it may
take a while to recover from it.

I would change the content to unique and forget
about it for a while, spend your time with a new site
that is based on unique content and revisit the site
      in the future.
