What is missing in IM.....

I am a student of Internet Marketing.

And, yes I do make a living off of Internet Marketing. Actually, I own an online automotive parts company. And, I have various other online ventures that do bring me in a bit of income. I say these things not to boast, but to only illustrate that I do make an online income.

Now to the point of this thread. I have been noticing for some time that most Internet Marketing courses seem to only focus on one specific aspect or another of the overall Internet Marketing landscape (for example - how to build a list, or how to get traffic). Or they some hypey product that promises to bring you riches in the next 24 hours.

How come nobody has brought out a complete course (maybe they have, and I just do not know about it yet) that is a true turnkey solution?

For example, a complete turn key course that details everything from creating a product, marketing said product, traffic generation, etc. This is content that has been done to death, I know.

But, what if the producer of this system also offered a free template (I know this has been done to death as well). And, they offered PPC managed assistance (for a small fee of course), and they offered SEO turn key (for another small fee of course). And, what if this course also had people who would answer your questions for you via phone or email Monday thru Friday (I see this as a nice conversion factor that would increase sales).

I only post this thread to see what you guys and gals think. Because, in being a student of IM I have notice that most of the systems only give you some small piece of the picture and it is up to you piece all of it together. Most of us have done this to varying degrees of success. But, to newbies coming into the IM space wouldn't it be nice to have a true turnkey solution?

Or am I just smoking the proverbial crack pipe?

  • It's been done, but this kind of thing gives people information overload. People have enough trouble sticking with something when they buy one marketing product. If they buy something with a bunch of different focuses, they'd be so confused they'd never get started.

    • Not if it's put together well.

That's not the fault of the product.

    • I would like to see a product that did a "countdown to launch" for total newbies. Really simple step by step with screenshots (not videos) A true story example with end result showing first payment

Day 1 choosing the product (include why the author choose the example product)
All the steps inbetween until the product's website is launched

Second product - how to maintain the site and build up sales.
Step by step in the correct order.

Maybe there is something, but this is what would make me understand the whole process in a large nutshell.

  • I can't remember who said it but in one of the
(many) audio courses I've come across, one of
them stated that no true genuine marketer
would dare to attempt a feat such as a
    "COMPLETE MARKETING HOME STUDY COURSE"

... as it is something that would render you into
target practice for all the other courses out there.

Also, a real expert would know that he/she is
good in one area and would also know he/she is
    weak in another area.

To attempt to cover those areas would be rather
    dangerous, not to mention irresponsible.

Imagine eating chicken cooked with all the
ingredients known to man... on one dish, with one
    chicken.

    That'd be one funky chicken.

    • I think there alreayd is some good products about Internet Marketing in general. If you look at the big guru's.. you're going to find products of how to build your Info Empire or something like that.

They go from Market Research to Launching the product.
