Offliners who use Direct Mail
This may be a stupid question but do you address the name of the business owner or just the business name in your direct mails? I've done both (with and without the name of the owner) and some responded back.
Another stupid question: how do you typically get the name of the business owner? (obvious answer would probably be through cold call, but what do you usually say/ask to get their name?) I ask because the telephone gatekeepers are usually not that kind to give away their boss' name/information.
