Is there any way to spy on your competitors EZA article's CTR?

Hello there..

I'm just wondering is there any possibility to spy on the CTR's of your competitors EZA articles?

I've never heard of any tools to help me do this spying stuff..

Any input will be appreciated.

Thanks

There isn't really a tool without Ezine Article's itself giving the data away.

There are things you can do though. Find the expert authors (the ones that have thousands of articles submitted) and reverse engineer what they are doing.

Have a look at their resource box. They wouldn't be writing so many articles if their system wasn't working for them. The Authors will eventually learn how to craft a good Resource Box...

Does the Resource box grab your attention. Normally if it does it's a good one!!

YES, that's what I'll do usually but sometimes they're certain tricks that you may not know. My average articles range from 15-25% CTR and that's the most that I can get by using a specific tactic.

And I also learned that putting your link in a sea of words won't be effective. I tested it out recently and the most I can get is 4-8% CTR no matter how benefit driven is your resource box.

I also tested another tactic that I learned from one of the article writers at EZA.He would write an article and then suddenly STOP it with an anchor text, "read here more" as his resource box. I got 13-17% CTR for a few articles.

Well, all this was tested after spying on other writers but I don't think that's enough. Some of them claim that they are getting about 40% CTR and I think that's cool and I'd love to know their secret.

You did mentioned about "reverse engineering what they're doing".Any specific method that you'll take to REVERSE engineer them?

          Thanks

I am not sure you can actually get the CTR for the articles, but you can do a simple google search and find the most viewed articles.

How would I find out what percentage of your houseguests took a dump in your bathroom?

You are better off spending time on your business and stop trying to chase after the competition.. Who cares what your competition does.. The more time you waste on monitoring them is the less time you spend on your business which could cost you more sales in the long run...

Yeah you want to spy so you can copy what they are doing, just because they are doing this or that does not mean it will work for you.. Besides that you have no idea what backlinks they build to their articles as no software can pickup all backlinks.

Waste of time ... Spend that time on building your own business...

I do not know of a tool for this but you can find out quite a bit about an individual EZA article (IE: keywords ranked for, etc .. ) via www.semrush.com - no affiliation.

Most people write articles to get more traffic to their websites.

Never seen a tool to check out potential CTR on EZA...but interesting idea.

The tough part about evaluating articles 'with traffic' is that some people out there do tricky things to inflate their 'Views' just so they can get into the 'top viewed' spot...take those #s with a grain of salt...

    Hi Ebiz,

I'm sure there's no way to know the CTR of other
authors unless you ask them directly or you have
a connection in EZA which can give you that
    information.

However, if you just want to see the most viewed
article in EZA you can run a simple query in Google

    Site:ezinearticles.com "your keyword" "viewed 99999.."
Replace your keyword with the topic you have in mind.
As for 99999 replace it with a figure, let's say 1000..

This will automatically show articles with 1000 or more views..

    All the best,

    Omar

    P.S.

I just had an idea..if you really want to know the CTR why not
try to rent the resource box of the article from the author for
a month. If he talks with you, you can ask how many clicks he
get and if he agrees, you'll know for sure.

Why are people negative? Sure there is a way out. You can ask your competitor to give you their username and password. First i will have to begin with you. Or is there any other bright idea.

I don't find anything negative here.
I'm just asking for a tool to check out other people's CTR.That's all.

If you call this NEGATIVE, then I believe that other KEYWORD research tool that will spy on other people's PPC ads or backlinks are considered as "negative" too.

In my opinion, spying and learning what other people are doing are considered as "working smart".But I'm not going to do that 100% of my time.Of course I'll focus on my business first and when I want to improve my performance, then I'll check out on what they're doing.
