How To Find Affiliates In The DJ Niche???

Hey guys,

I'm about to do my first big launch with affiliates for a package of some of my products that teach kids everything about being a nightclub DJ.

The first launch I did without affiliates blew away my expectations so now I want to go out and find some affiliates / JVs.

Any advice on where to start?

Do the traditional IM channels for finding JVs work in a small non-IM savvy niche like mine?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Thanks for your time.

~Sean

Well, the forum is a great place to be, also you can use clickbank or paydotcom to find affiliates. JVs are a little harder and you just have to find people and forums in your niche that will work with you.

Other than IM forums and channels you need to find DJ/Music forums and individual blogger to see if they can market the product. If you focus on forums in DJ and music niche, i'm sure you'll find some affiliates on those forums.

Why not do a bit of research on Google for various DJ keywords and contact the site owners. They are or can be affiliates. You never know, one of them might just have a big subscriber base.

hey Sean , I liked checking out your blog and it's nice!
I am also in the same niche and nice to meet you!
The DJ niche is a difficult one, but its a huge one. We got music and media and Dj gear ,sound and light systems , etc all in there!
I have been having pretty bad results on promoting DJ Tutorials. It's almost all there in You Tube anyway. Are you expecting 100,000 DJs ? lol
I moved into the gear scene and been having better results. Maybe music production would be a way to hit it big. Clickbank and the like have a just a couple products and are damn low in gravity, so that's out. So I don't know where you will find but like Benjamin suggests to gang up in the forums would be a good idea. Tutorial products would have to be expensive otherwise its not worth it. The demand is too small. Try some other side products to see what works then focus on that.
    Just my 2 cents..

You can go through Clickbank. If you're not keen on that subject, you can also direct your attention towards DJ and music related blogs using Adsense. It seems to me that the majority of people using Adsense on their blogs aren't doing so because it's their optimal choice for advertising. They're doing so because they don't have or know about other options.

That's not to say there isn't money to be made with Adsense, but commissions are pretty to the eye.

Target these blogs, get widgets and mini-malls made and let them place them on their site. You've got affiliates! Hope this helped. Cheers OP!
