Facebook RSS Feed Placement Question

I just created a fan page for my website on facebook and I have the fan page is updating notes based on the rss feed from my site.

I'm now considering doing the same thing for my personal profile so that my site's rss feeds are also going there, too. Is this what people normally do -- have the RSS feed in both places, or it is considered "spammy" for all of your FB friends to get a status update every time your rss feed updates.

    I would not add the same feed to a fan and a profile both.. I would just use one. As far as your friends that may think it is spammy, this depends upon what kind of friends you have added.

    If those friends are randomly mass added then you may get reportsed for spam. If they are targeted and have been personally added by you manually and not by some system then you should be fine.
