German Newbie, searching for other Germans :)

Hello, my Name is Alex and I'm a Webdesigner from Germany. I know all the stuff about how to Webdesign, setup CMS-Systems and Landing Pages...
But I don't know how to make money out of my knowledge
Many reports and ebook's that I've read so far, are all about the US Market.

But from what I can see the German Market is very different from the US Market, because it's much smaller, and there are other Affiliate Programs and Tools and so on...

So I'm searching for a German Mentor who earns his monthly income through Online-Marketing and can help me a little. I'm willing to pay money for the mentoring and a Skype Call would be enough for me to learn something. Please send me a PM if you're from Germany and are a good Mentor

Merry Xmas, Alex

Detlev Reimer was a German Internet Marketer.
He retired from marketing to the english community, so that he can concentrate on the German market.

Frank Bauer took over his site (Internet Marketing Strategies & Strategic Internet Marketing Solutions|Building VRE Websites with Clickbank, Adsense, RSS Feeds and Blogs) a year ago. Don't know where he is now.

      Hi Alex,

I have the same background as you have and lived about 150km south of you before setteling down in Chongqing / China.

IMHO you can adopt many of the technics that are used in the United States for the German market. This will put yourself in front of the pack. Just check the so called "Abakus Forum". There are maybe 2 or 3 posts about using linkwheels, after somebody "discovered" it in some english blogs or forums. The global oppinion back in Germany is that linkwheels are eval, so give it a try and use it, as nobody seems to adopt it for the moment...

Also CJ.com has a german version, with some offers you could try to promote... Only use it on my private blog, as I don´t think the german market has the same potential as the english speaking markets. But maybe it is an blue ocean... Maybe. You never know until you try!

Would help you, but also just starting with IM and will concentrate on the english market (and in a couple of years on the chinese, for sure ;-)).

      Frohes Fest!

GeorgeR (I think) tried to break into the german Netbook (online) market, using PPC, a review page and Amazon. I think he ended up losing quite a bit cash. On the other hand, ChrisByrns (or Bryns? no idea) appears to be a pretty successful offline marketer, and a gifted all-around marketer in general. I remember his landing page topic (the one with the JS countdown), which set me off to affiliate marketing back then
