Squeeze Page Question

Hi guys,

I'm new to this forum and I've been lurking for a week or so.

I'm planning on setting up a campaign with a squeeze page that leads to the sales page (redirected with url masking so that the user doesn't see that he/she has left my site)

My question is
Is it more effective to use a squeeze page that leads directly to a sales page
or use a squeeze page that also links to a blog with articles highly relevant to the topic (to presell)

The opt-in will take the user's name and email and send a relevant newsletter messages with tips/articles relevant to the product I'm promoting.

What I want to do is both use a squeeze page for the newsletter and a blog to provide content (since content is King) and I'm wondering what is the best way to do this

I plan on driving traffic to the page with article marketing and also PPC
I'm thinking a blog with quality content will drive much more organic traffic

Should I set up the primary page as a opt-in free report/newsletter continuing to the blog
after the user signs up, and just have links within the blog and in newsletter messages

or should it just continue to the affiliate's sales page (masked)

I'm still fairly new to all of this so maybe my question is not worded right

Thanks in advance for any advice

The answer is to TEST. The only right answer is the the one that produces the best response for your market. What may work like gang-busters in my niche may turn belly up in the fish bowl in your niche. So start with a simple A/B split test and you'll have your answer soon enough.

I think this is the best answer for you.

Try setting up two squeeze pages..One that redirects straight to the sales page
and the other that re-directs to more information.

Put in different links in there..if you are promoting a clickbank product you can always create two different id's for each link..this way you'll know for sure which one drives more traffic and gets more conversion.

Yes I agree test....the main thing is getting your sales page in front of them more than one time. This is how you make your conversions go much higher with a list and sometimes people have to see an offer numerous times before they buy.
