Hello everyone,

I know this is probably an ongoing discussion but I was wondering, do you guys use wordpress to make niche sites maybe 10-20 pages of content without updating anything after that. I am using hostgator and I have never used any other app but wordpress on hostgator.

depends on what you want to do with your site, but wordpress alone (+ a few plugins) is enough for some IM stuffs

I use WP on 99.9% of all my sites.

I can be used in any way possible, even basic sales pages.

What you're asking is easy to do. What's your concern?

    BTW, the host is irrelevant.

Good question - the other members are correct, you can use WP to do just about anything. One of the warriors has wordpress template he designed called - 7 minute mini sites (I think that's it's name). It's a really great template to make simple salesletter sites. It's very simple to use and he give very detailed instructions. I'm sure you can find it in the products section, or search for it online.

      Good luck.

Sure, you can use wordpress to build a site with 10-20 articles, use a plugin called old post promoter to rotate the content around, and do some promotion, and it will work - I do it all the time for affiliate sites!
