Your conversions? (email marketing)

I'm interested to hear what the percentage of your conversions are. Let me give an example:

I have X amount of people on my mailing list
X% open the sales email and,
X% of those who open them buy what I'm selling

    Now this is what I do . Will it help you out . Not really .

    The better you target your traffic and relate it to your products the better your conversions will be .

    The more products a niche has the longer your list will be productive .

    Once you have run a campaign for one product ... start explaining to your list why they need your next product .

    A balance of why they need it and you letting them know you have it must be met .

    The only thing worse than trying to sell something your list doesn't realize they need is making them realize just how bad they need something and they find it before they realize you have it .

    Depends what kind of list I am promoting to. I usually get anywhere from 1%-10%. (1% is usually for a non targeted list, 10% and above is for a targeted list).

    I don't track email open rates. Tracking open rates requires HTML emails which reduces CTR and sale rate. I care more about sales than I care about the percentage who open my emails so I sent straight text instead of HTML.

    My subscribe to purchase rate is currently 1 in 18.67 or 5.36%.
