I've got an Idea I think EVERYONE should do at least once

Whether you're successful, whether you're not, whether you make $4000 a day or none at all, I think everyone in this forum should do this at least once a year. Hell, now is a perfect time.

Essentially, what I mean is this.

We are a community of buyers and sellers.

We ALL buy products from each other, and I'm sure if any of you are like me, you've got some space tied up with all the stuff that you've bought.

Here's my idea.

Go through all of it and take as much notes as possible.

SEAN YOU'RE CRAZY! I DON'T HAVE THE TIME!

Why not make the time?

The thought process behind this is simple. Take all the products you KNOW will work, and do those first. Take awesome and fantastic notes on them.

Then go through the rest of the things you have on your harddrive, and grow the notes you have with what you glean from everything else. Things that may not have been covered in your favorite or best buys, things you find interesting, or that random little moneymaker that you have had work, but never developed.

The other thought process behind this is also simple.

Your notes can be turned into products.

You're starting your year off fresh, and with a gorgeous batch of notes that you can definitely turn into products.

Its what I was going to do over the next few days until the new year, and I figured I'd share this idea with my brothers and sisters in the forum here.

Hope you think its as awesome as I did!

Excelsior!

-Sean

Good idea, I think for most though the thing is \'finishing\' the project

True, but I suppose another idea of taking the notes would be to be able to delete anything you didn't want anymore on the space, or put it on some flash drive to be forgotten and free up some space.

I'll be doing that as well, lol.

Wow, that is kinda weird because that is exactly what I've been doing this entire month.

Good on you! Its what I've been doing the past few days, and suddenly it hit me, I know what I can do with this!

And the notes will be awesome. And in a year when we look back on this set of notes, we'll laugh and get ready to make a new batch.

Sounds like a good idea to me. It's amazing the amount of stuff that manages to pile up over time. I have an archive of 66,000 ebooks that I got off someone, most of which I consider junk. It couldn't imagine trying to go through all of them to find the most valuable 'gems'. :-)

Well I'd certainly hope not! Thats a lot of stuff, and like you I also have a ****eload of PLR ebooks that I wouldn't even bother going through.

I'm talking the stuff we've all bought this year, last year, etc. Whatever we need to go through.

And you're right, I've got at least a gig, if not more, of content and stuff I have bought just in the past couple of months alone, nevermind this whole year. This will be fun though.

The process Sean describes could also be used to free up some HD space. Delete the junk. Keep the gems.

I was planning to write about my activities and progress with the idea of developing a product later, but this is a great idea too.

I already know from writing book reviews that taking notes while you're reading helps reinforce the details. Not only does the review almost write itself, it forces me to really pay attention. The information just STICKS better.

My friend , always leverage any information you can.

I never start anything unless I write down the process I used to get from point a to point b.

A lot of it will never go anywhere ... some of it will become gold .

I'm about to leverage a year and hundreds of dollars worth of information to make my goals for 2010 a massive and fantastic reality. I cannot wait to get this going properly once I have all my notes taken and my 'secret playbook' of IM ready to go.

That's an awesome idea.. the main thing is that.. If you are not learning you are wasting your time. Even if you are doing the most stupid thing.. if you are not learning anything you are wasting your time.

If you goal is to make a lot of money.. you will have to learn a lot.. about a bunch of things.

Grabbing a product and start reading and putting it in action.. will make way more.. than anything else you can do.

A lot of times.. people buy products.. start reading.. them see.. another product.. buy them.. start reading..

But they never finish what they start (that is something I can take from my own experience).

That was my problem, all these products and no action. Well, I decided I'm going to take all of them, put them together, take all the good and none of the bad, and finally take the action required to make the money I want to make. Its all there, the information is in front of me and I am going to use it up in any way I can.
