Tough Question: structure for a multi-product website
I am facing a problem here: I don't know how to structure a website where I will market a number of independent, but related, products.
It's a golf site, and I sell instructional DVDs on the different aspects of golfs: drive, bunker, pitching, putting, hitting from the rough, etc. Each DVD is independent to each other, but obviously they target the same niche: golfers.
The problem is that I don't know how to structure the site as a whole. Here's what I've decided so far:
- I dont want to base it around the blog model because I don't want to post on a recurrent manner.
- I want to create individual email lists for each product to better target them with future offers. So, there will have to be a mailing list for people interested in the bunker game, another one for putting, another one for pitching, etc. That means that, somehow, I need to implement different squeeze pages for each sub-niche which is a mess.
- I want to give free content first before presenting my product offer in order to build trust in advance. That's where the targeted email lists come in place.
Does anyone here have experience with sites offering multiple products, and more specifically on how to structure such sites so the products are presented and listed independently on the front-end?
TIA!
