Help with my clickbank project

7 replies
Hello all,

I'm seeking some help with article marketing. I want to use a clickbank product.

So here's my little plan:

1. Find a clickbank product
2. Find keywords
3. Write my article
4. Create my landing page

Now here's my real problem. I am low on funds. Can I possibly create a landing page on blogger.com? Does that have any chance of being as profitable as a regular domain name?

Please give me tips.

    You can actually make some pretty good money using a blogger page. That's exactly what I did when I first started out, and I made around $600 in my first month - I was totally new to the whole affiliate marketing thing.

    Make sure you write good articles with attention grabbing titles, optimize your article with long-tail keywords, and place a good call to action in your author resource box.

    If you have some good content about your product set up on your blog, you can really make some money. Although I have a huge website now, I still use the above method when I start out in a new niche, and it works quite well for me.

    Good luck!

    Sure, why not.

    Squidoo is also another free site for creating affiliate pages that's popular with article marketers.

    I think if you move step 1 to between 3 and 4 you'll get better results.

    That sounds about right. But I'd recommend:

    1. Choose CB product
    2. Research keywords
    3. Create landing pages
    4. Article marketing traffic

    I haven't looked too hard lately, but a few months ago blogspot (blogger.com) pages were noticeably strong in the SERP's (with strong content of course). So to answer your question, yes that's a great place to start. Obviously there can be other considerations (branding, control over domain, etc.) but if you're just looking to get started and make some money, that would be a good place.

    Good plan - you can certainly use Blogger to get moving quickly on the project.

    Here are my thoughts on #1, finding a CB product:

    * Choose a CB product YOU can sell. This means, that it's in an area which interests you, and which you can get enthusiastic about. Ideally, it's a product you know well because you've bought it and love it;

    * Get some links pointing to the blog - others have suggested Squidoo and Hubpages, both of which are good;

    * Post to the blog occasionally, as well as using article marketing, because Google likes to see updates.

    Big tip: When you're first starting out, stick to products which relate to each other. For example, health and fitness products. Then create additional blogs for your new products. Now you can (occasionally) link from one product to another.

    Good luck. :-)

    It is definitely a viable idea. Follow the tips here and put into action. Once you make money, I'd advise you to reinvest your money into new projects with your own domains.
