I finally got 5000 visitors in a day without paid traffic

Hey,

I finally got over 5000 unique visitors in a single day without any paid traffic or using my list.

I've reached over 5000 unique visitors per day before on multiple occasions, but that was with a combination of traffic from my list and traffic that I paid for. However, I'm thrilled that I did it for free.

As you can see from a couple previous posts, I used to have trouble getting traffic, but after asking for advice and applying myself to learning and implementing, it's become as easy as making a sandwich

Now what I do is find an extremely hot niche first of all. I then use tubemogul to submit my videos to the top video sites. I then use socialmarker to submit to Reddit, Digg, Propeller, and I also submit to Clipmarks, Jumptags, and Mixx. I also submit documents to Docstoc and Slideshare, but I don't do that step for EVERY campaign I do. I'm usually indexed in Google freakishly fast and get tons of traffic from Google as well.

Now I'm not here to boast or brag, but here to encourage others especially those who are struggling to get traffic and make money to find methods and implement them. I've been marketing for 18 months and I've felt many times that it might not work for me, but I have such a passion for it, that I kept at it and the results are amazing.

      I'm sorry you feel that way, I just thought I'd share my success story on here and try to tell others that it's definitely possible. However, I don't want to give away my EXACT method.

      If this helps, for my resources I use tubemogul, socialmarker, and a couple document sites for submitting my content, and then it gets indexed in Google very quickly. I do understand that you think I'm bragging though, but I'm really trying not too.

      I have seen so many regular, long term Warriors telling that they made $50K here or just broke the $15k for the Month..etc..etc....

      Sounds like sour grapes here !!

      I didn't use any article submission sites. However, I'm thinking of using articlesbase going forward because of their fast approval and Google love

  • Come on people, don't bash the guy. He is excited and wants to share it with people that are interested in what he's interested. I don't know why you are all getting upset with him because you think he's bragging. Hell ya, he deserves to brag, he achieved a goal of his. And he did give you some useful information. Don't bully him into giving you his exact method, it's his method, he figured it out, if we all knew it, it might not be as effective.

    • Not bashing. But what if I came in and started a thread that said, "Hey! I got 10k visitors a day to my site" and that was pretty much it? How does that help anyone? The point for me to be here in general is to do my best to help others, and get the help I'm looking for.

      Just him saying he did what he did really does nothing to help me.

      If it was a post meant to just "inspire" people, then I believe a better place for it is in Mind Warriors - Success, Power, Self-Improvement

      I'm not the only one of this opinion, I am entitled to my opinion, and honestly I received PM that I am not the only one who thought there could be some more helpful/useful information to the post.

      And even if he answered my last post, it would not give away his whole secret or method or niche. What ever.

      And don't even get me started on the WSO thing. I don't know him from adam. The OP has no credibility as far as I know. I would just blindly believe that he did all of this because he said so? How do I know I'm not being led down a path where this is all a deceptive effort to raise some interest in a WSO in the first place?

      I am not paranoid, but I have been here for a while and I have seen all kinds of crap happen.

      I'm not here to rain on anyones parade. On the contrary - I am here to LEARN and help other people.

      If the OP has no desire to help others freely, then I am able to form my own opinions as to the character I perceive.

      I mus say I am a little surprised by the reaction to this he said he got help and then applied it how many people can say that.

      Nothing he is doing is different then what hundreds of others have posted to do . bragging/ maybe there is some jealousy there. don't pick on the guy because he is encouraging others to apply what they learn because when he did it worked.

      how many people need to see that. surely not the pros such as you folks this gives credibility to the information presented by lots of other warriors that when listened to and applied the result will be achieved.

      I say way to go Corey your getting it figured out a lot of people don't know how to do it but you let them intimidate you into revealing I would have said well do a search that's how I learned i told you the tools now figure out how to use them.. but of course I would have posted it differently and broke it down because that is how I am but i say GOOD JOB young man.

  • I encourage you to write a WSO about how you did it -- lay out everything like how much money it took to get there, how much time, how much effort, etc etc etc. People need a reality check, and an honest WSO that says "it took me six months to do this and I had to work 8hrs a day" will be refreshing

  • Corey, do you drive traffic to your main page of your site, or all your individual posts too? I never know if I should be concentrating on bookmarking and backlinking to each individual post (which can be time consuming since I write daily), or just the entire website as a whole.

      Most of the time, it's individual pages or posts. Sometimes though, if what I want to promote is on my home page, I just promote the main page.

  • Nice work dude - Sorry you got slapped around in this post a little -- its always best to help others by sharing your success strategies. But in saying that, its entirely at your own descretion.

    Seems we flame people who whinge about not getting traffic and do the same for those who do.

    Either way - nice work, and be sure to share your methods as mentioned through a WSO. Id be interested in picking up a copy.

    I'm not going to post proof.

    But you should trust what I say for your encourgment. cuz I just started recently in IM and I'm an Expert with Google.

      I didn't just start in IM. I started over 18 months ago and have been learning every day since then.

    • Honestly, this sarcasm is really a HUGE turnoff and is unwarranted. Where is the mantra that we give people the benefit of the doubt until they prove us wrong ??
      I thought that was one of the special factors that made the Warriors and its Members different than other places.

      Care to elaborate on your assertion of knowing when people are new to IM and when they are not ??

    Traffic getting from videos and other sources apart from google is really good.

      I am planning to get some videos produced. How many do you produce per niche? Just as many as you can do?

      Also, when you talk about bookmarking do you mean bookmarking your videos or your website sales page?

    hey just had a idea, if you want to keep your methods or the parts secert from how you acheive the results how about placing a video with some of the infomation on how the start the way you did it so others could implement and figure the way also without hurtinh your methods, or do a wso on how it was done sorta like i dunno a 7 part video course,

    just a idea what do you think

    you say you have been at IM for 18 months so my question is how long did it take you from the time you started this type of campaign and the results.

    In other words, did that traffic come from accumulating over the months or did you start seeing these results after starting this new way of marketing?

      Well obviously traffic accumulates over months, but if you find a really hot niche, you can start seeing tons of traffic build up very quickly. It all depends if your niche is something that will bring you long-term traffic or if it's a current event niche that will bring you lots of short-term traffic. For me, I've experimented with many niches so I'm bringing in both instant traffic and long-term traffic from different niches
