...That pops up a bar right over the bottom 1/2 inch of your screen. Seems to be fairly new and I have only seen a few marketers use it.

Some people seem to use it as a opt in.

Sorry to be cryptic, but I don't know how else to describe it.

    hm....this shows up when you enter Warrior Forum? I've been reading this a few times, but I'm not really sure what it is....

    Perhaps someone will know if I 'bump' this thread (I hate to see threads not get any responses at all...lol)....

    P.s. Just went to Hershey a few weeks ago.....a friend of mine works at the Medical center.....

    I hail from the Allentown/Easton area It sure is a small world...lol

    Do you mean the one with twitter/facebook and other socialize button bar ? (if i remember correctly it comes with green/blue color ). Are you talking about that socialize toolbar ?

    I know what you're talking about but can't remember what it's called.. it's often used in place of a drop-in form box, right?

    I think Yahoo also uses something like it.

    If you are talking about instant slideup, and plan to use it in non IM niche... do change the graphic, rather than use the given template..

    You will get better conversion that way

      When you buy instantslideup, you will get a generic "free book/report" template.. Try not to use that..

      Hire someone to do a custom instantslideup graphic for you and you will look all professional and pretty( i mean the website of course. )

    There was a WSO for a wordpress plugin a while ago. If you are using wordpress
    you might want to check it out. Just search for "action slider wordpress plugin"
    (not mine btw just thinking of buying it as an alternative).

    I first created ISU 2 years ago and since then there had been much copy cat mushrooming

    Anyway, We are close to launch InstantSlideUp 2.0, which is going to blow all the competitor away.

    Hmmm... I went to their page and clicked on the example link, and the slide up never appeared. Evidently, my ad blocker neutralizes it.

    EDIT: Yup. I disabled my ad blocker on that page, and it showed up. So evidently it won't work on at least some customer's pages. But it is certainly a lot less intrusive than those pesky fly-in ads and such. Nice tool, Rob.

        Do you know if the two programs mentioned above, UFA and ISU can be used on pages where you also have a Adwords ad pointed to those pages.

        Do they open in the same window as the page or is the code considered a new window?

        I.E. G's TOS against Popups, In's, etc.

    I cant comment on UFA but as far as ISU is concerned, it is not a pop-up. We are just creating a overlay on top of your current web page with minimal distraction to your user.

      Thanks. Can you tell us when the next update will be out and hints on new features? Will it include additional templates?

      I noticed this in the UFA FAQ. Are there any related issues with ISU? Just checked some sites I did with XSitePro2 and they are using the HTML 4.01 Transitional doctype.

      "Ultimate Footer Ad requires websites it runs on to use a correct doctype at the top of your web pages. If you're website doesn't have any doctype or uses the HTML 4.01 Transitional doctype, then UFA may not display correctly or even at all in certain browsers (notably Internet Explorer 7)."

    We are schedule to launch ISU2.0 in 2 weeks time. It is a complete override and is going to be more robust and faster. It includes additional effects like Slideup/SlideUp and FadeIn/FadeOut. We are also introducing more customization including custom CSS for you to customize the ISU.

    Another big feature is that we are moving it to a purely hosted version as one of the top complain from user is that they can only use it on PHP website. With hosted version, everyone can use ISU (even if you are running on WYSIWYG website builder or hosted blog) as long as you can insert few line of JS snippet.

    On the question of templates - YES we are going to add in 20-40 templates depending on the plan you sign up

    There are other killer feature and for competitive reason I cant disclose them at here. Please keep an eye.

    Oh on last note, yeap ISU need to have the correct DOCType as well.

      Rob,

      Sounds like a great update. I'm like a lot of people that use XSitePro, but looking at both your product and UFA, doesn't look like either one will work for use. XSite Pro uses the HTML 4.01 doc type and don't beleive there is any way to change it. You could do it manually, but would overwrite it next time you update and upload the site.

      I checked the XSitePro forum and found someone trying to get UFA to work, but gave up.

      Any hope for something that will work for us? Am I missing something?

    I developed and sell a related tool called Stripe Ads.

    Stripe Ads - Text Ad Rotation Software for Webmasters and Affiliate Marketers

    You can add unlimited stripe ads that will rotate with each page refresh and it includes a very user-friendly admin area where you can manage the stripe ads and view detailed stats.
