I think I broke Wordpress temporarily

Hey,

I got this error code on my wordpress site

Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_admin() in /home/plrdoc/public_html/freereport/wp-includes/vars.php on line 16

Does anyone have any idea what this means and what I should do to fix it?

I appreciate ANY help

What did you do just prior to this happening?
I think that is from upgrading your version of WP to 2.9?

Try downloading the latest version and manually uploading/rewriting the files on your server and see if that does the trick.

  Hmm...I'm not sure b/c I hadn't done anything and got opt ins with this blog (5 in my WSO thread)
  
  However, it just stopped and popped up...I had already updated to 2.9
  
  Any other idea?

You can try re-uploading /wp-includes/vars.php
