There is someone sending out emails on Calvin and Johnathans behalf that goes like this

Got this today and wanted to let everyone know just in case?

Brian,

I've got an important phishing scam alert that you
must know.

It appears that there's someone else impersonating
Jonathan and myself and sending out emails to our
members.

It goes something like this:

Hello [your name],

Welcome To IM Buzz PLR

Please activate your account : link removed by moderator

To Your Success,

Calvin & Jonathan
IM Buzz PLR

*****************************

The link will ask you to activate your membership
and after you sign up, it will require you to pay a fee
by entering your card details.

That email is NOT sent by us.

And the website the impersonators used is imbuzzplr.NET
which is different from the .com we use.

So once again, take note of this and make sure you
do NOT fall prey to these vicious attempts.

If you have already entered your card details, I would suggest
you contact your credit card company ASAP to inform that your details
might have been stolen.

Next up, I would urge you to send an email to abuse@1and1.com,
which is the apparent hosting company for the site. And let them
know of this phishing scam.

I've already sent a complain email to them but they've yet to reply.
So it will be great if all of us email them to stop this faster.

Last but not least, just a tip that you should take note of in future.
Always ensure that before you enter any of your payment details,
you check that the URL has a https:// in front. This will mean the
site is secure and your payment details are safe.

These phishers are always out there trying to scam people,

so you must always be alert.

Finally, I really want to apologize for any inconvenience caused.
We do NOT condone these actions and will do everything we can
to stop these phishers.

Thanks to all subscribers who have alerted us to all these and thanks for your trust and patience in us.

If there's anything else we can do to help you, simply reply
to let us know.

We appreciate it and hope you have a great

I 'bought' this a couple of days ago - $4.99 was an absolute steal for lifetime membership . . .

I didn't understand it when my card was declined

And when my second card (same account) was declined I was worried

Those phishers managed t get their grubby paws on 2 sets of my perfectly good card details . . .which I just had to cancel

The laughable thing is that they ain't taken any of my cash yet - amateurs huh!

So, sorry guys, there'll be no New Years WSO's or no brainer offers for me until I get new cards - unless in the meantime I get a secret PayPal beneficiary:rolleyes:

I am now what they call 'goosed'

Hi Kevin,

Wowsers. but hopefully things will get ironed out quickly for you.

This is the reason I posted this to help prevent this type of thing from happening I wish I had of gotten it a couple days ago .

It is ok CC he has just been busted in the wso section and is upset with me . LOL http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...3-wowsers.html I adressed that forum but also posted in here. quite a while ago now he is just trying to find something to throw at me but oh well the 47 sites I own the rights to etc I appreciate the effort though .LOL:p

Yeah he seems to be on a personal mission only thing is hey most people know who i am and so I am not really worried but it is humorous to see human nature take form. reminds me of the kid who got caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

First it was Tiger Woods. Next we had an underwear bomber. Now we have this thread hijacked by someone who claims to make 65K a month on the Internet but can't spell "online" .

Is it just me or is the world getting more bizarre by the minute?
