Tips and Advice on a new massive launch needed...

Whew...so I'm about to do my first ever big product launch.

I currently have a book that I sell which contains a conglomeration of 4-5 ebooks all on one subject. Customers can buy these other ebooks separately or they can buy the one big real book to get them all in print. This is the best value.

This printed book currently sells right around $80-$90.

I have an email list over right around 20,000 of opt-ins for this subject (gathered from all the individual ebook sites that are gathered in the one big book).

Now, even though it sells very well, it has been in DIRE need of updating and improvement.

What I have done is redone the entire book from scratch to be updated and much more info packed. But this time, it does not contain all the individual ebooks like it did before.

What I would like to do is "launch" this brand new version to my list. But what I'm worried about is messing up the current success of the current website and book. The current one is marketed as a conglomerate of ebooks in one, and it has the individual pictures of all the ebook included so I think it really appeals to the reader.

The new book will not have that as it is all new. But the info contained in it will actually be better overall.

I'm thinking of doing a whole new website, new image covers for the book, etc.

Do you think this is a wise move, or should I just keep all the current graphics and website, and simply adjust the sales copy?

It's so hard to do this as I don't want to mess up the current strong sales. But at the same time, I'm wanting to deliver a newer and MUCH improved product.

Thoughts? Ideas or suggestions on what I should maybe do?

One other thing, all my marketing includes ads in print and online with the picture of the current book image. So if I redo that, when people actually land on my site, it will look a bit different. I will also have that issue.

you can always call it the advanced version, the next level, part 2.0 (lol)

or you can make it into an entirely new book. You say it's all different and better content, so it is in fact a new book. You've already got a list, so you'll be able to offer it to them, providing them with a completely new book.

Because there might be people who aren't going to buy your updated version, because they might think it's just the same, but with a few minor updates.

You could put it on amazon.com and tell your list it's available there and if they buy on a certain date, they'll get x,y and z as a bonus (which should be something they would really really want) and if you get enough people to buy it, you might be able to make your book an amazon best-seller (which is always a nice thing to mention about your book on your salespage)

and you'll be able to get a lot of testimonials as well (lol you could even throw in another bonus if they give a review on amazon.com), imagine getting a thousand testimonials :p that'll surely impress anyone who finds your book on amazon

just my thoughts on it though

have a nice day and I hope you'll make your next version/book an amazing success,
