Okay, Stupid Question, But Where Do You Guys Get Your Disclaimers?

INTERNET MARKETING

This might sound stupid, but where do you guys get the disclaimers you use at the beginning of your eBooks?

Do you get them tailor-made for each eBook/report, or is there just some generic disclaimer you can stick in every book?

A little help would be appreciated..

What I've done in the past was to just get a disclaimer from a couple of ebooks and modify it to fit the ebooks I wrote.

I am not an attorney and therefore can't give you legal advice. If you need a legal disclaimer, then talk to your attorney or other licensed legal adviser.

See... it's easy... just make it up.

Seriously, it depends on the goal of your disclaimer. If you are trying to avoid getting sued, then an attorney really is your best resource. There are several attorneys who have decided that practicing law is less lucrative than IM and now help the IM industry with things like disclaimers.

Bob Silber is one such attorney used by many IMs. I think he probably has a $20 product that includes legal disclaimers that are appropriate for your goals.

There is a very good example of a earnings disclaimer and testimonial disclaimer on the Niche profit classroom sign up page. Have a look for it at the botom on the screen.

We at Niche profit classroom have been involved with IM for many years so have needed to get the correct legal statements in place.

You could just copy this...

Depends on what you're using it for. If it's an ebook, I just rewrite one from another ebook. If it's a website, I just rewrite one from another website.
