Dragon Naturally Speaking Pitfalls...

Okay, so I have been an article marketing fool for the past couple of days due to Tiffany Dow's article marketing challenge. I have been using Dragon NaturallySpeaking 9.5 and it has made my article writing life so much better.

The only downfall, is I seem to rattle on in my articles. This is not all bad, but I found a couple articles to be unorganized.

So, I have started writing out bullet points that I'm going to cover in the article to help keep myself on track. This has seem to help an awful lot.

Anyone using Dragon NaturallySpeaking experienced the same thing. If you are try using the bullet points. They really seems to help.

    The pitfall I found with Dragon was that my cat would purr into the mic too, and dragon sat and thought for a long time and then threw an error "utterance too long".

    Apart from that I'm sure doing a little outlining or bullet points beforehand is a great idea.

      My machine came with Vista, which has speech recognition. It works much better for me than the dragon. However, true to Microsoft Generosity Form, it only functions inside Microsoft software. Therefore I write it out in word pad and then copy to my word processor where I can do my wonders.

    I've found that software really hard to configure, I ended up uninstalling it, found it faster writing my own articles or spinning others that I never created with software.
