GRR! Where is my Facebook URL?

Okay this is probably something REALLY simple like www.FaceBook.com/TiffanyDow or something but I don't know for sure!

How do I find my Facebook url so I can enter it into my Squidoo profile page? Every time I look for it it has all this weird code and I don't see my name anywhere in there.

    There is probably an easier way, but the way I found mine:

    - When logged in, I went to my profile and copied the URL, which looked like:
    http://www.new.facebook.com/profile....NN&ref=profile
    Where the NNNNNNNNN was a nine-digit number.

    - Logged out, then pasted that URL in the address bar

    - That redirected to my actual profile URL, which looked like:
    http://www.facebook.com/people/First...name/NNNNNNNNN

    Where NNNNNNNNN was the same number.

    Where NNNNNNNNN was the same number. The same formula probably works for your profile.

    Your FaceBook profile is generally not publicly accessible; only your friends will be able to see what's on it. Anyone else who visits it will a) have to login to FaceBook first and b) will only be able to see your picture. They can then request to be your friend from there.

    If you want a public (and crawlable) profile on FaceBook, you need to setup a Fan Page (free). Here's mine as an example.

    This thread is 2 frickin' years old.

    Now you can add your name after Facebook
    like so: Facebook.com/AsherAw and it'll
    head straight to it.

    No need for profile.to anymore.

      Hi everyone,

      Well I think its not that easy as Facebook.com/Username.
      But, here is how you can get it.

      Click on your profile link. Copy the link shown in the browser.
      Now, log out of your facebook, open a new tab and paste that profile URL in the browser. Click enter and wait.
      Now you will see your profile as others see it.
      See the URL in your browser now. It will be like---

      (facebook.com/people/UserName/number)

      This is the required link.

    Facebook U.RL:

    Login to facebook -> Go To Account Setting -> (My Account) -> Username (Change your username).. e.g: jonalfredsson -> hit "Save".

    View your profile: http:// facebook.com / jonalfredsson (it will look like this)

    When you log-in, go to "Profile" and the url that is in the address bar is your facebook's url.

    You can do this with a fan page too, but you need 25 fans. It sometimes lets you do it straight away for your first fan page, but not many people have just one!

    It's worth noting that you can't change it, so make sure its spelt right. Someone I worked with has a badly misspelled facebook username!
