I am not very good at keyword research, and am trying to learn how to do it.
Say I pick a niche, dog training for example. I can go to Google's keyword research tool and enter the term, and it shows me loads of suggestions. Trouble is, most of the relevant ones are fairly short, and fairly (or very) competitive. I am looking for terms with lower search numbers, but lower competition, but can't work out how to find these efficiently.
I know I could sit there dreaming up all sorts of variations, and trying them all, but that would take all day. Is there a simple way to find long-tail keywords based on a short-tail one like dog training?
Thanks for any help you can give.
