Wordpress - additional categories

I'm setting up a Wordpress site that will allow users to post details of an item they want added to the site.

I want the site to have 4 sets of menus -
1)"latest items added" (for which I can use the posts widget),
2) "what's been added" (for which I can use the categories widget)
3) "when it was added" (for which I can use the archives widget).

My problem is 4) - I also want "where it was added" - a list of counties.

I'm thinking this would also be a category with sub-categories, but I want it displayed in a separate widget.

Does anyone know how I can do this?

Thanks
Carol

Where would the country info come from? Would you have your users input the info, or would it be pulled from IP addresses?

If it's the first, I may know of a plugin that will work. It's something I used on one of my first blogs, so I'll have to go hunting for it.

      Thanks Elle
I think I found the answer - Category Manage Widget. You can have more than one instance and can include/exclude categories.

The user will categorise what they are adding to the site, and can choose more than one category - one of which will be their location. It has to be client chosen, not based on ip address.
