Can anyone take a few moments to possibly tell me a little more about this tool and how I can use it to benefit my marketing?

    Well for starters market/competition research. You can take the RSS Feeds of all your competition blogs posts and set up an Google Alert and see when and what your competition is doing, then all you have to do is, the same thing but better.

      Thanks Nickolie0990, thats a great idea. I was also wondering...I read somewhere that you can use it to create backlinks also? Is that possible and how and what for?

    You can also use them for link building, there's another provided
    option to list all the most recent entries, use this to know which
    blogs are active.

      You can easily identify candidate blogs from which it is very likely that you'll be able to get a trackback. Trackbacks are approved much more easily than comments... Just a thought.

      You can also find free blog hosters in unusual places. I'm giving you a lot of these in my free WSO (see my sig).

    I agree RSS feeds are great, I use google alerts all the time ... and I have found that by networking with my competitors has been beneficial for both of us .. not just with link exchanges ... but sometimes it is great to be able to communicate about your particular niche with someone who really "gets it" and share war stories and successes.
