I was wondering just how many people use coupon sites to either promote your own products or affiliate products. The method is simple. The reason why I like to promote affiliate programs with coupon sites is because the traffic is already looking to buy, they just want to make sure they are getting a good deal. So, if you just position your deal right, then it sells it self. Here is a step by step method of the method.

Step 1: Finding something to promote

First, go to Coupon codes and discounts for 40,000 online stores! RetailMeNot.com which is the biggest coupon site online. And check out there "Browse Coupons" section. For anybody who knows that is just tags and the bigger the text, means the more popular the demand is for that keyword.

Step 2: Search Amazon for a Good Deal/Product

Make sure that you are an affiliate for the Amazon associate program. Then find a matching product to the thing you want to promote. Amazon is great because they are already a trusted source for people to buy from. After you find the thing, get your affiliate link and take down some notes about the product. Take down things like: Free shipping, discounted rates, extra items. You know stuff that make the deal even better.

Step 3: Put the Thing on As many Coupon sites as you can

Now the only thing left to do is to post it to as many coupon sites as you want. Like I said above, the Retail Me Not is the biggest coupon site online, so I would post it there first. But I have included a list of 55 top coupon sites attached to this thread.

After you have complete the steps, just rinse and repeat. I did this last year (2009) and it paid for my Christmas shopping. Anyway, I hope you all have fun with it.
