Best bank or place to convert overseas affiliate cheque?
Everybody knows that affiliate marketing is one of the most popular way to make money online. But most of the affiliate programs (selling someone's product) are mostly from U.S and other countries, thus giving out cheques in their currency.
Though there are paypal and other 3rd party payouts, but most of the affiliate program are still using cheques.
I live in Singapore, and the best bank to convert foreign cheque is actually Citibank, they charged SDG $5 for a cheque conversion to Sing dollar.
Its so much cheaper than the other banks, where they will take a certain %, the affiliate bank will also get a cut as well, leaving sometimes very little for the new affiliate marketers when its converted to their local currency.
What about your in your country? I think its time to do a list of banks for having best foreign cheques conversion in all the countries.
