You Have Read So Many Books, But Why Are You Still Not Rich Yet?

Reading books can't make you rich. If it could, then the richest
person in the world should be the librarian

A lot of folks say reading books is not enough; one needs to take
action on what has been learned from reading them in order to
realize one's dream.

But that's only half right.....

To become rich, not only do you need to take action - you need to
take the most productive actions.....and take a LOT of them.

Here are two things you should do:

One- Focus on what you do best.

Rich marketers find out the most productive activities that they do
- and then focus only on those activities that they do best.

If you're in the product creation business - focus on creating high
quality products.

If you're an affiliate marketer - focus on promotion and traffic
generation.

Two- Multiply it 10 times.

Swimming books can't teach you swimming. You have to swim in the
pool to pick that ability up.

Swimming once a week in the pool can't make you the best swimmer in
town. You have to train everyday in order to achieve that.

The biggest difference between success and yet-to-be-success lies
in discipline and execution.

The same principle applies to swimming, making money and a lot of
things in life.

Folks, find out the most productive core activity in your business,
increase your action 10 times than what you are doing now, and
you'll be way richer than what you are in 2009.

Wish you a great and abundant 2010 ahead!

Steven

    LOL

Maybe you should put a measure to "richness"... I am rich in general terms, that doesn't stop me.

For me the equation to make money is to go to the safe side in this sense:

whenever you ask for money from someone, give at least 3 times the value of what you are asking.

It might take more or less time for people to realize that, but when they do... you have as much as you want simply by looking at other areas where your customers have needs.

The way to provide that value and don't "suffer" it, is setting your fort over your strengths.

When you list just 2 points like that, they are bound to be non-exhaustive.

Think about this for instance... you create info sites and rely on advertising money from Adsense. You seem to do a great job at it, so you built 10 times as many sites.
Google changes the terms and starts paying 20% of the revenue and bam, half your revenue is gone.

The above isn't too unlikely but my point is that one shouldn't put all eggs in one basket.

Also, say you are great at creating quality products... You produce and market one and it brings great revenue... so should I go move on to creat the next one (or nine)? How about maximizing the revenue on the one at hand. Get it in the hands of more people, translate and you have even more, repurpose it for close market demographics, build a consulting business around it... these are just some ideas.

And the point here is that more products may not necessarily be better than improved products and new markets.

Otherwise, I agree with the motivation in your post...
I couldn't resist playing the devil's advocate here as I've come to realize that tooo many people take the first such post as a guideline and go with it.

You make some good points, but your opening line here is a bit disingenuous.

There is a saying that rich people have big libraries, and poor people have big TVs, and there is truth to that too.

The best writers are good readers, and vice versa.
