Anyone Have A Solution To This....

Hi Guys

Sorry to ask such a basic question here but I have created my first Ebook in Microsoft Word 97

I need to convert this into a PDF document. Can this be done from Word itself or do I need to copy it into something such as Open Office??

The book has screen shots in it which do not seem to paste into Open Office very well!!

Any advice??

James

Yes you can do it from Word. I'm not on my right computer to check this but if I remember right you go into file and then print and there is an option for PDF

Dude, just load it up to google docs and export as PDF. Nothing easier and you don't have to pay anybody or load any software.

Mr Says put this GREAT tool online JUST for you:

    Go here:

    warriorforumvideos. com

Scroll ALL THE WAY down the page to the bottom
then scroll up past WAR ROOM to the 2nd last video

    Warrior PDF Creator
    (creating PDF files for free)

    click the link
Download the Warrior PDF Driver from here

    Install.

    Will act like a PRINTER.
You click to PRINT your document and select "Warrior PDF" instead
of your actualy printer and then you get a pdf on your desktop.

Select "Preprint Quality" from the drop-down for laser-sharp pdfs.

    Word 97 ... hummm

Just go get a free copy of open office ... does PDFs well.

Its equivalent to Excel is better anyhow ... allows more characters per cell. Overall its comparable to Microsoft Office but free ...

There are moments when a simple convert might not be enough. If you embed videos into your Word document a simple converter is not going to translate that. Some format elements will also change and you will not have as much control over the size and quality of the output.

I know you did not mention that you needed any of the things mentioned above and certainly being free is a great reason to have just about anything; but, if you want your PDF to be PRO grade without the expense of Adobe Acrobat then PDF995 is awesome. It costs about 20 USD, and it is some of the best money I have spent online.
