Does any else get sick of all this SPIEL?!

Look; I get it. Bold headlines, ludicrous promises, and deceptive tactics work.

But they just dont work very well- You know, I listened to Vegas Vince interview Steven; and he made a comment about some guy getting all excited over 13 thousand visits to a Micheal Jackson page.

Only he didnt make any money!

I'm sure the advice that flooded into him was something along the lines of an overhyped, overpriced, gimmick to sale t-shirts or some crap like that.

People you dont HAVE to be so bloody obvious with your deceptions. Yes, tried and true tactics work. But you only need to START there, at that point you need to develop some of your own tactics.

I'll tell you something that will REALLY freak alot of you guys out. I drive about 900 leads through my (and a few other) CPA networks every month.

Did you know 60% of those (new)leads routinely join my list, (or at least, the websites mailing program) and continue to provide me with revenue over a period over months-and sometimes years?

My customers dont hate me; I provide a service to them. I sometimes buildup communitys around my marketing, and I certainly dont "Hit them over the head" with a bunch of screaming headlines and overhyped promises.

Think about TV Commercials folks; Are they anywhere near as silly today as 10 years ago? While some might still make bold, crazy promises most focus on entertaining and capturing a viewers attention.

People can keep doing things as they please; But heed my warning- In the next 5-10 years the web at large will get savvy to the sleezeball tactics I see so often; and it wont matter if google lets you run "Google Cash" in adwords or not-The conversions simply wont be there.

I guess the point, is that people should stop thinking theres only a specific number of cookie cutter ways to market.

They'll make more money if they move outside of that mindset. I sure as hell do.

If nothing else, the ability to pull in sales from the same people multiple times makes my earnings exponential. Thats more money, for less adspend.

You tell me, whos making more money?

Not only is the second guy pulling in sales, but hes building a list of HAPPY readers to.

I dont know about you, but I'd rather have 100 happy buyers than 1000 folks who bought some crappy product.

I guess I just got set off a little tonight; I stumbled on a dozen of those "Fakes News" style sites you see for Acia and Googlecash, and they really grind my gears.

I mean, I'm guilty to. Far from all of my campaigns are as transparent as I would like; but some times people just cross a line.

I understand where your anger comes from - really do. I hate going to TV or Movie sites and just being completely bombarded with false advertisements and over-hyped crap. Luckily, I don't see many of those "fake news stories" on many "real" internet marketers sites - or what I would consider real anyways.

When it comes down to it, there are two ways to go about marketing:

    1. Tried and true - the don't reinvent the wheel group
    2. The think out of the box and try something new that may result in extra profit group.

I think a lot of the newer internet marketers tend to fall in to group #1, and probably half of those take this statement literally, even to the point of copying marketing message they receive word for word. I had 3-4 people add me to twitter the other day, and when I added them back I got one of those immediate DM's that everyone on their list gets, and ALL of them were EXACTLY the same. It's times like those when I just think...really? It's no wonder why internet and affiliate marketing gets the bad rap it does when there are tons of idiots pulling crap like that. --- Anyways, I digress.

I think intermediate marketers fall into the second group. Using tried and true and also starting projects of their own that they test and work on, and occasionally come out with a great new product for.

Then there is the third group - which either consists of totally unknown people, because all of their "out of the box" ideas unfortunately fail horribly, and really well known marketers who have most likely gone through both phases.

All in all there is no "Ultimate single way" to do internet marketing. Both types have different types of people behind them, both attract different types of visitors and buyers, so in the end don't worry too much about what other people are doing - if your doing what makes you happy and successful then concentrate on that.

I don't know if this helped you at all, I just tend to ramble
