FREE Blog Site Created How Do I Get Interested Bloggers to Join

I have had this site running for a while now and the only user of it would appear to be me and one other. Its FREE and I have no idea what the problem is.

Can I get some pointers guys!

    Well, it can be free, however what is your marketing plan? You need to bring traffic to your site. Try doing some article marketing or video marketing and redirect those people to your site and invite them to register with some benefits in hand.

      OK what sort of benefits would folks like to see that would entice you all to want to create a blog on the system.

      I would like to see some warriors create a blog and advise the experience and anything else they would like to see on it.

      I am open to all sorts of ideas even custom themes. But I would only do this for folks willing to help the site out.

      Let me know what you all think. I am sure there are some blog masters here that could give me an idea of whats missing and maybe where to source an example from to implement into the system.

      I know the site is new and the PR is 0 but you have got to start somewhere.

    If you simply blog on your site, apart from a few people noone is going to see it.

    Advertise your posts and sites on Sociial Media, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter.

    Social bookmark your most interesting pages. Or all...

    Bookmark your videos as well.

    Linking to other blogs post can get you link backs.
    Holding competitions can give you viral traffic
    getting sued can but that's abit pricey lol
    Be the one to stand out and say something different to other bloggers

    And more...... Literally thousands of ways.

    But at the very least you're going to have to market your blog a little.

      On this forum I think more people will care about another place to get a backlink than actually blogging on your platform. You might want to advertise it that way instead, if you're willing to accept those kinds of blogs.

        Try adding video to the blog, I tend to go back to blogs with videos.

    Figure out what keywords people are using to search for free blogging platforms and get something (your site, an article a free classified ad, a PPC ad...) in front of those searchers.

      All good advice. I think I will just rip the site down its taking to much of my time. I guess no one see's value in using it so its a no brainer for me as I have other things to be getting on with
