website flipping question

Hello,

Sorry if this question has been asked before but I couldn't find an answer. Basically I just wanted to know how this works. If you sell a site and you have been using a particular website creator tool such as xsitepro or dreamweaver, does the person who buys your site have to have the exact same website creator in order to edit the sites? The answer is prob obvious but I don't see how someone can edit the site unless they have access to the same template and tools.

    Website flipping is more of buying websites and then doing some promoting/seo/ect for it then selling it again at a higher cost.

    But to answer your question, No they dont need it.

    None of the website creator - html tools work the same. However you don't have to use the same tool to work on an already built website. For instance my favorite tool to use is Notepad. It works on just about anything, unless it's a flash site or something like that.

    No, you just have to transfer the domain name and the site files to the buyer.
