Creating Traffic in Several Social Sites

Have you ever stopped to think that traffic for the sake of traffic means nothing?

If you want to make money you figure out where the TARGET AUDIENCE for your product or service goes.

Think about that. Over and over... people just don't get it. Do you get it?

If you want to sell Ice Cream you find people that eat Ice Cream. You don't "Hope" that some place some where someone will find your site about Ice Cream because you joined a Million other sites.

And Ice Cream is a local product. TARGET TARGET TARGET

First thing first stick to one site for example twitter, it's not about how many site's you have, it's about driving traffic to your product that you are promoting, but you need the rite targeted audience. To get the traffic on twitter try twollo all you need to is think about what kind of people will be keen to purchase your product.

You might be struggling to get conversions from those sites. Of course this would depend on your products.

However, - most social sites work best when you participate. Do you have time to particpate on all of those sites?

What you have to do is, if you are joining social network for personal use than you need to start with Ping.fm and join the every social site in order to brand yourself

If you want to start with new products or affiliate product than start with most important social network like twitter, facebook, myspace, youtube and so on to promote big time and follow the above users said....

Join As much As You Can Actively Participate In...

1) Try to be more social, than salesy- The purpose
of these sites is to showcase your personality and
build a relationship with your prospects...

2) The more you have different mediums to reach your
prospects- the better for you. But again, no one wants
to go to someone's page when all they do is try to sell
them stuff... So post your pictures, give daily updates etc...

3) Web 2.0 Social Sites take a lot of TIME, so if you can
outsource people to do the work in those sites for you it'd be
better: that way you can focus on your marketing...

4)You can use RSS feeds to automatically post on your
twitter and Facebook, the content from your Blog, or post
from Twitter, to Blog- or Twitter to Facebook- or Facebook
to twitter to your Blog... You get the picture... That's a good
way to automate content...

Of course- don't rely on automation 100% Be as human as
you can...

If you send people to your blog from your email- your blog
to your facebook to your twitter, to you linkedin- Friend
feed etc... The bouncing from page to page, will give your
prospect the sense that he knows you better...

Thus he will trust you more- and buy for you without you
having to pull teeth...

It's all a question of increasing your conversions more so than
bringing in new Leads... But it does work VERY WELL FOR BOTH
PURPOSES!

I still need to learn more. When I joined those sites, I was just posting links to my site with few words or quotes. I got traffic alright but it's really time consuming. It increased my ranking in Alexa. But I noticed that when I stopped for a couple of days, my ranking drops.

Social networking always helps you to get in traffic..so as much you do that is good...!!

I'd suggest starting with facebook. There is a facebook group or fan page for just about anything you can imagine! You can then use that to your advantage when you find a group that contains your target audience.

I also agree with what was said that you really don't want to overextend yourself. Social Media can be very time consuming and you want to be as focused and efficient as possible.

When I submit to Ping.fm, I am connected to 20+ Social Media Sites and can reach 50,000 plus people with one status update. It is targeted traffic in a way because on all my Social Media sites, I have connected to other Internet Marketers and like minded Entrepreneurs.
