Site Map Generator Plugin Question

Hey Warriors

I have just installed and activated
WP site map generator on my WP blog.

Is that all to it? What is the next step
to take?

  • Go to settings -> sitemap

    You will need to check the configuration and click on the build sitemap link.

    Then verify that the sitemap exists by going to yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml

    • Thank you, but I am using DD Site map generator plugin.
      I cannot find the "build site map" or am I missing it?

  • Just upload it and activate it and it'll automatically build your sitemap. I'm using custom permalinks so it's mydomain.com/sitemap

    • Ooops... almost forgot, just create a page for the sitemap and in the HTML screen paste the code:

      <!-- ddsitemapgen -->

      and it should automatically build your sitemap. I haven't tried it on a site that already exists, but it should work. If not try posting in the Wordpress forum section.
  • use google sitemap generator its much better and automatic
