What FREE video software should I use for my website?

I am looking to make videos for my product reviews websites and can't really decide on what type of video software I should use. I was looking for something that has good quality and is easy to use but also has a lot of different tools to use within it.

Do you know of any video software tools that are free?

(btw I do plan on taking video from a digital camera, so I would need something that can take uploads)

  • If your speaking of video editing software then i would go for a program called wax.

It was a college project but since then has really grown.

Plus it has some really cool features and effect tools

You can get it for free here.. debugmode.com/wax

Hope this is what your needing

  • If you're on Windows you can also use Movie Maker. It's decent for basic stuff, and you can get it for your stated price (free).
  • If you are doing videos from screen recordings or powerpoint, jingproject.com is really good...but only does video up to 5 minutes.

After that, go to tubemogul and upload to a bunch of video sites.

    Hope this helps...
  • Movie maker I think is a good one.
  • thanks a lot guys i'm going to check out a bunch of these, i'm already using movie maker, but would like something that can be used... more freely and has better features.
  • I use camstudio but the quality is shady
  • Thanks guys, I also needed the same recommendations for a program that can edit video and can generate a decent quality results.
I hate the Movie Maker and I hope that Wax is better. I'll go check it out.
    Thakns again.

  • I tried debugmode.com/wax it didn't really load correctly when downloaded. :\

  • You can first make a PowerPoint Show with pictures, videos, sounds and texts and then converter it to video with Leawo PowerPoint to Video Free (you will find the download adress in my signature).
Can you image that a slideshow video is cool and the most important is that by this way you can make a video easily and don't need any special skills.

  • Hey Man

Try CamStudio - Free Screen Recording Software for screen recording!

Or Camtasia Studio, TechSmith's Screen Recording Software If you're feeling a little on the spending side!

You could also try the Windows Movie Maker in Windows if you're doing direct uploads.
