iPhone & Android app Market

Has anyone here in the warrior forum gotten their feet wet in either app market? Not exactly sure how one would go about making money except to create a killer free trial app, enticing the user to pay for a full version upgrade. Interested to know what anyone knows about this and any experiences you've had.

Also what do you warriors think about the ever evolving and growing smart phone base? How will more and more people browsing online using their phones rather than pc a(e?)ffect the future IM, if at all?

There are a variety of ways to make money from Apps. Apps could be good for those working in the offline niche. You can look at developing sales apps for a particular company etc. There are also many free applications that must be funded by advertising. And, as you said, free teasers to get people to buy a paid version.

The smart phone market is revolutionising the way people do business and access information. those that adapt the quickest are best placed to gain.
