Product Promotion and Sales

Warriors,

I only want to create a product. What is the best way to profit from it? Outsource everything else? Is there a simple yet effective way to set up a site to sell it from? I'm not worried about promoting anything yet.

Thanks for your help.

    G,

I think you need to elaborate a little more on what you are asking. It's not really making sense.

So you want to create a product and let someone else do all the marketing?

My best suggestion would be to find a good partner who would handle all the marketing (with you handling product creation and support) and you split ownership and profits.

Just creating a product wont put any money in your pocket. You need an effective marketing plan to drive sales. As suggested, look for a partner if you are not comfortable with the marketing.

Be careful before you delegate all your work to a 3rd party. It is a good idea to start on your own. Get the knowledge and that way you know if you need to fire someone.

I would delegate some mechanical operations for outsourcing like site creation, product production. I agree that it's better to implement marketing strategy by yourself. Do you have an idea of a product?

I do have a product in the works. I will likely sell it for $500+ because the market I'm going after tends to have a great deal of money, are used to spending their money on products like mine, and my product will allow them to make a huge return on investment...minimum 200%. I agree that it will be best to outsource site creation and what not. I just need to find a way to get my product in front of enough qualified prospects. And due to the client base I'm not sure I want 1,000 affiliates out there promoting or not?

Why would you not want 1000 affiliates promoting it? Thats like saying no to money . Also just out of curiosity, how do you know its a 200% minimum money back, I seen product which say they will make me a million in 24 hours just wont happen. FTC rules prevent you making claims like that, so have proof to back it up if you do claim that.
