Fav. Organization Tool/software???

just wondering what everyone uses to keep everything they do organized? For example, all your websites, passwords, articles and to what directories you have sent each article to, and any other info you might need to find!

Roboform for passwords, websites i just keep in organized folders on my desktop and external hard drive. Maybe a good way to keep track of your articles and where you submit them to is use mind mapping software such as FreeMind - free mind mapping software

I have to agree with Peter about RoboForm - It's not free, but I've been using it for around 3 years now and have NEVER regretted the $39 I paid. As much as I rely on it, I'd gladly pay $69 for it. Though I've never tried the free alternative......like the similar features in more recent versions of Firefox....and probably IE8 I would guess.

As for files and organizing them.... I'm pretty sure you're on your own there....put perhaps that's a totally hot product waiting to happen ??? I just make a "master folder" for each topic or person with as many sub folders as I need inside each, your can put more folders inside the subs too. So if you have a master called "Articles" you could have a sub called "EzineArticles" and inside that one you could have one folder for each month of the year if you really wanted. I would highly recommend the best seller by David Allen called "Getting Things Done"....there is a super easy method laid out to deal with and organize ALL incoming information and other stuff as well.

Finally......as bonus for making it all the way through my long reply, I'm going to through in .....ABSOLUTELY FREE - -today and today only....... Mind Mapping - Mindomo at ........you guessed it...mindomoDOTcom
This is some totally free and rather awesome mind mapping software you can use to create a "file system" for your brain - - HIGHLY recommended. - - Jeff in Oregon

Roboform is a must. MyLife Organized is a great little software. Google "Personal Information Manager" for a load of excellent software to store your notes in a Folder Tree fashion. You'll get what I mean when you see one running. Essential to my business.
