I have used weebly a bit to support a backlinking project for my main product site.

I have no idea if there is any value in this activity. You should try it and test it.
I work on the basis that if I build 3 backlinks a day then I will get good rankings and good traffic.

Working out which ones are paying you money is much harder

Like others, I use it for backlinking purposes. In addition though, I have used it from time to time for landing pages for CPA offers and such. I really like it, mostly because it's so damn simple to use

    Personally, I don't like it.

I used it way back when I didn't know how to build my own
landing pages, squeeze pages, and blogs...but now that I do,
    it's primitive in comparison.

I do recommend it if your an absolute beginner with it and
have ZERO budget to pay for hosting.

yes they allow the use of google adsense and their site include a drag and drop widget for it to make it simple. I am unsure of whether they allow any other type of ads tho

depends what you are going to use for, if you are just putting up small few websites weebly is good, go for paid version, yes you can post ads.

I know its ages since "whoisbenjamin" used it, but its good now and you get 10 websites on upgrade

They have added lots of new features lately

I use it and you can now sell you products on there for free by using one of the new widgets.

It's ok. It helped my Dad build his own website! There has been a spate of new free website builders that I am sure surpass weebly now.

I LOVE Weebly. I don't know much about creating professional sites but with adcopy, SEO, article writing etc. all in the mix, I'm not very concerned about having the absolute best site right this minute.

I have gotten better with Weebly's tools and now, even just using their editor, could create something looking a lot nicer, but the my site on How To Get A Bigger Penis (yay backlink! lol) is getting a 50-60% CT rate from my EZA traffic so I'd consider that as "primitive" as it might seem, the page still functions very well.

In addition, I also use weebly as one of my web 2.0 blogs I build to gain backlinks from, but these I leave with the domain.weebly format obviously : ) They get indexed quickly and Weebly is very lenient on the type of content you can host (obviously)

Another site of mine is only getting a 30% or so CTR (at how to take care of a betta fish) but the difference could just be because the niche isn't as "desperate". If those sites don't look good enough for ya, no worries, you can create better ones or just use a different tool but with free hosting and easy domain setup I like weebly a lot.

Oh yeah, I'm gonna buy Weebly Pro once I start my next campaign... call me crazy

Hope that gives you some decent input,

    - Brandon

I myself have not used it yet, might have to check it out though. If it's working for some warriors could work for me

I use Weebly just for backlinks though. It is simple to use and you can set up website in minutes. Thanks Dave for the Yola link I am always looking for more Web 2.0 sites.
