Squidoo lenses, gone from Google!

Hi Warriors,

I checked 3 of my recent squidoo lenses yesterday and they were all indexed by Google. 2 of them actually got the top 50 spots.

Now all of them are gone! Would you know the reason why? I never did any black hat tactics.

Help!
Michael

They might come back - they might not.

Google always cares about the sanity of its results.

The fact that many IMers DO use them solely for trying to affect SERPS is reason enough for them to get penalised.

As usual with seo stuff - don't sweat it, it might go back to normal tomorrow - just make sure you're not just doing it for SEO gain and it's a useful addition to your business regardless of seo benefits.

yes, Andy, you told me that when i had a similar incident a while back.

my lens was indexed in 20 hours, but gone 4 days later. 3 days after that it was back.....

      bottom line......

the reasoning of the mighty google is beyond the comprehension of mere mortals...........

Mine are still there but recently I find them hard to get front page listings.
