Is Squidoo the new 'it' site?

Anyone have any experiences or opinions on using Squidoo instead of eZinearticles.com for Article Marketing? Just an idea I'm playing with...

  • It's ok but don't bank on it for all of your results. For best article results, large distribution works best.

  • I kind of think Squidoo has had it's "It" moment already. Seems to of died out a bit these days.
  • Squidoo got slapped by Google a while back and is not doing as well as it used.

    It is still a great site but you now need to work harder than you used to. If you make it part of a strategy and create good lenses it will still give you a fair return for your effort.

  • I think there is more "buzz" about squidoo now, than actual benefits. Nothing wrong with making it a small part of your marketing plan, but I don't think it is something worth spending a lot of time on either.
  • I like Squidoo to post about product launches. Where you Google the name of some new IM product, there always seems to be a Squidoo page ranked very highly.

    • Perhaps its moment as a shiny new toy has passed, but I think it has still yet to catch on in whatever way it is fully going to.

  • it doesn't matter whether its squidoo or anything like that, it depends on how you update and optimize your articles or sites, why bother reading thesame article everyday right??...

    also the more article directories you submit to the better
