Using keywords to help choose domain name - simple advice, please?

Hi

I've got an IM product i'm hoping to sell online, but basically i'm just wondering...
how important it is that keywords appear in the headline?

for example:

how to iceskate better.

if i use the word 'how to iceskate' it'll obviously help, but i guess my question is, if i am redirecting free traffic towards the site, forums etc etc ( and other ways i've yet to investigate but am too busy right now with buying the domain name and creating the sales page)...what difference will it make?

obviously once ive bought the domain name, im stuck with it.

so far i know that it will contain the keywords, but at the end of the day im marketing a product that will obviously hold relevant key words but maybe not all of them.

i know there may not be an easy way to do this, and i am aware of things like market samurai and wordtracker, so is this where i should start?

thanks.

the current market is all focussed mainly on google's relevancy/ranking algorithms. however, significance of keyword in any domain name is likely to come down as google is moving towards to incorporate usage data and keywords in anchor texts into their algorithm.

may be, now keyword-in-domain will give you some bonus, but it would probably change over time. it all will depend on the content. if your content is good, it is going to be easier to get rank and so traffic.
