Been trying to figure this out.

We now have to disclose in our e-mails to our our list that we are promoting products and are paid commissions. However if we are creating a blog or a website "do we have disclose that we are making a commission?" also were do we have to make this disclosure. For example if we have a website with 30+pages of content and 3 pages of items that we sell. Do we have to disclose this information on every page, on the sales pages only or can we get away with just a disclosure paragraph that is linked from every page.

Wherever you are providing any kind of affiliate link, you must disclose that
if the person purchases from you, you will get a commission from the sale.

What I do to counter this is offer my own bonuses to people to buy from me,
sort of like an ethical bribe. I even point out that (if it's a Clickbank product)
that they must see "affiliate=myid" at the bottom of the Clickbank payment
    page.

Not only is this full disclosure, it works like a charm, especially if you have
    a killer bonus to offer.

Don't have a product? Offer your time.

This way, the customer is happy, the FTC is happy, and you make more
    sales.

FTC guides say the disclosure has to be in 'proximity' to the offer and 'prominent'. Common sense says linking to a disclosure would not save you if you are targeted, but the reality is, if you are targeted, nothing will save you. So just don't piss off your customers.
