I have several questions here but my first is:

1. I want to make a squeeze page for a product that I have. I am using wordpress, what do you recommend for a great theme to make this?

2. I know that I want all my traffic to generate to the squeeze page first so I can capture the email and redirect them to the sales page, so do I focus all the efforts in link building to point to the squeeze page and totally ignore the sales page(when it comes to link building)?

3. Do you know of a great theme I can use for Wordpress to make sale pages?

Thank you for your feedback,
Raygun

Go for the flexsqueeze theme. It's designed for that purpose.

    Hope that helped

Flexsqueeze. Raygun, you have the right name for the game. This is WAR fellow Warrior. fight on more than one front ... all elements of your funnel have to ease the process of your buyer feeling comfortable in the sales process.... Lots of pieces to put together and smooth off the edges!
Am right in the middle of building my online funnel too : )

I know that flexsqueeze is great for the sales page but they do also have a squeeze page function then?

I noticed on the video tutorials that it has a traditional blog function too along with the sales page format. Is the sales page format the same one I would use to create the squeeze page?

    Thanks for your help guys,

We use both: FlexSqueeze and WPsqueezepage. FlexSqueeze is easier to use, but WPsqueezepage is more SEO powerful.

One of the things we do is send our traffic to the SqueezePage, capture the opt-in, and giveaway a free "branded" report/ebook in the email. Behind the scene your visitor receives the email from your autoresponder. Also, after the form is submitted - redirect the visitor to your offer (sales page). On the top of the sales page state that an email was sent with a link to download the free report/ebook. While you are waiting for the email you may be interested in XYZ.

That is just one way to promote a product and it is a two step process for the visitor. Some marketers think it is best to make it a one step process. However, you capture the subscriber in the squeezepage (step # 1) and put your sales page in front of the visitor (step # 2)...At The Same Time! Plus your visitor also has your "branded" ebook. All nice and tidy.

With that said, the bottom line is you want targeted traffic. That involves choosing the correct keywords if you do something like PPC advertising. In summary, we advise or rather teach, the exact keywords to use to obtain targeted traffic. Read up on PPC and targeted keywords before you promote for two reasons.. your promotion targets paying customers and you spend money only on optimal keywords.

      Hi Jeffery,

Thanks for that very thorough answer to my question. I actually want to do the exact steps that you are talking about. How tough is wpsqueezepage to figure out? Would it be smart to make that for my squeeze page through wpsqueezepage and then use flexsqueeze for the sales page?

Finally, how important is SEO really? If I want to make cash upfront isn't it like you said? Have highly targeted keywords and find the best areas to advertise my product?

Sorry for all the questions, I just want to make sure I am getting this right on before I dive in.
      Thanks,
      Ray
