I'm trying to find out what tv commercials are being shown on tv
and how often.

A lot of people go online after seeing some commercials
on tv to do research about it & buy it.

    Develop a relationship with a media buying company in your market. If anyone can get that info, it's probably someone in the business of making media buys.

    and capitalize on the ads being show currently.

      Stay up late.....and watch the infomercials.

      Seriously, if they are repeating for any length of time (over one week), then you know the product is hot.
