haha, guys you rock. Actually, a good friend of mine here and I busted our b***s creating a product about how to easily create your own products based on existing good selling CB products, all the shortcuts you could take and all that stuff, spent ages builindg a list, free content etc etc....and it didn't even get off the ground, because we realised that for the most part, if you really did create this one button you could press, then most people wouldn't be happy as they would actually want you to press it for them LOL

yeah, so if anybody is doing this, just make sure you use words like "autopilot, without doing any work, no list, no website, no ppc, no testing" and so on lol

Unfortunately a lot of self proclaimed gurus make their money from these naive newcomers.

In today's economis climate their a lot more people looking to make money from other means and there will always be that fake guru to sell them the dream.

There are so many legitimate systems being sold but for a newcomer it is very hard to identify the truth from fantasy dream selling.

Amen, Phil. This is a HUGE problem in our society today. We have a culture that wants everything about success without doing anything to earn it. And if someone else is successful it should be taken away from them and given to people that didn't earn it.

  As someone who's been online in the fitness niche for years, I agree completely. That's why junk infomercial gadgets continue to sell as well as crazy diet titles like Phil mentioned in a post. It's a shame.

heheh well that's the thing... even though there are some people out there willing to make the effort to reach success there are a lot of people that just want to push a big red button and become rich.

In fact this is a big principle as to why so many garbage IM/make money online programs don't get 100% refund rates no matter how bad they are - because some people won't even go through all the training after they buy it. They'll always justify it as "well I'll get to that eventually" much as the 300 pound person say's they'll start running on the treadmill tommorow...

...and here's the funny thing, there are also a proportion who DO could through the courses, and follow the instructions by the letter, but it still doesn't work, which can often be because the person who wrote it isn't making any money either he he

If I'm honest, and I hope some newbies read this, but if I had my time again, instead of spending money on tons of Ebooks and courses, I would've just spent the money on paying other people to do all the work!!

Just saw your post after I posted mine. Yeah, you are completely right,and is worth people taking note for niche marketing, it comes back to the magic bullet thing I think. Hence why titles like "eat yourself thin" sell like hot cakes (excuse the punn)

Hey Thomas, well, the beer is actually doing wonders for my waisteline, my jeans used to hurt as they were too tight (now I'm in mid 30s) but after drinking lots of beer and wine, now my belly hangs over the jeans so it no longer hurts! ha

Might look into creating a button that works on the basis of sight.

But then that would require people to actually move their pupils towards the button, so were stuck in a predicament again.

Deffo has to be a lazier method! I would think, but that would require work.

Okay, I know your going to hate hearing this, but a buddy of mine got a wild idea for a membership website.

He was 18 years old at the time. He started this business in his garage from a $10,000 loan from his family. He didn't do a lot of work. He hired people to do it for him and got almost everything on credit.

The first year the website did over $5 million dollars. Unbelievably he had two more successes in a row and ended up breaking the $20 mil mark in under 5 years.

To be honest, he didn't work that hard. He just had good ideas and a magic nack for getting people to help him.

For what it's worth, I have had to work my ass off in the IM world but...if you work long and hard and smart enough for long enough things will happen.

Wow, that's some story. One thing I take from that, is a lo of people don't realise that this is a business, and with every business there is an element of risks you have to take, and also you need to invest money. A lot of people take years to make it online as they try and do everything for free..learning coypwriting, creating sites, writing articles, doing graphics and so on, when in fact if I could go back 3 years in time, I would have spent the money on hiring people who were already experts in tose fields.

Oh dear, I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I kind of feel bad for whoever that is.

A lot of people want an IM product that they can buy for $.99 (or cheaper) which allows them to press a button and print money out from their printer. I doesn't exist, unless you're in the counterfeiting business.

You have to do work to actually make money.
