    Yes

What I do is actually put your link in where it asks for your website and where it asks for your name put

    "Your name" @ "Keyword"

Works like a charm for your SEO efforts

Just make sure you put a valid comment so your post sticks

Good point, another good tip for SEO type in the keyword that you are trying to get ranking for into google search the top listings and find a site in which you can leave a comment on the site. If you can then you will find that your rankings could boost dramatically.

That's exactly what you should do. Where it asks for your name make sure that's where you put the kw you want to rank for. Alot of blogs will not let you put links or anchor text in the comments section. Just make sure your comment is ON TOPIC and not "Great article! Thanks for the info!" as I delete those all the time .

I would highly recommend to keep anchor text in blog comments where it helps to rank for selected keyword.

Remember, A link with your name in it also count for SEO. Only not as much.

So if you see a blog where you suspect you will get deleted if you posted as Acne Tips. Use your real name, or your niche name instead. Also helps if the blog you are commenting on is competing for the same keyword.

Absolutely put your anchor text as your link in blog comments!
Just make sure your comments are valid comments and it will help in seo.
Note: Make sure the links are do follow. Many blogs put no follow tags on all outgoing links, and these tags will dis-allow any seo benefits from your comments.
So focus your commenting on do follow sites.

I'd hesitate to do this UNLESS you absolutely provide great content on your comment. It would have to be a comment that would be at least 200 words (almost like an article). Then I don't think the website owner would mind, because it's obvious you are trying to add something to the subject.

If the comment is really short, and not really adding anything to the blog post, then they would probably just regard it as spam, and not accept it.
