Keywords that mean 'I'm ready to buy something'

Have you found in your keyword research that there are suggested phrases that indicate more than the desire to find information about those keywords - they indicate the searcher is one step further, looking to make a purchase?

Do you use this information to direct searchers to your sales pages rather than your lead generation pages in this instance?

if you have words such as buy, best price or review in the keyword phrase that is usually a good indicator that the searcher is close to making a buying decision.

Common ones I have found is always "buy (product name)", "order (product name)"

Look for long tail as well such as "Where can I buy (product name)"

I also heard that the singular use is someone looking to buy.

Sometimes folks who're getting ready to buy look for specific payment options. So look for words like:

    PayPal
    Credit card
    Clickbank
    Layaway
    Installment
    Payments
    Discover
    American Express
    Visa
    Mastercard
    Accept checks

They might look for discounts/affordability such as:
    Discounts
    Coupons
    Sale
    Sale price
    Cheap
    Affordable
    Clearance
    Bargain
    Auction
    Low price
    Price match
    Best price
    Compare prices

They might look for specific shipping options:
    Free shipping
    Overnight shipping
    Cheap shipping
    UPS shipping
    FedEx shipping
    Discount shipping
    Fast shipping
    Canada shipping
    U.S. shipping
    Shipping to [whatever location]
    Gift wrapping
    Gift cards

These are not exhaustive lists, but they should get you thinking about similar words. And of course -- as mentioned earlier in the thread -- you can also look for words like "buy" and "purchase."

Depending on what you're selling, you might also find people using words like "no contract," or "fees" (instead of prices), etc.

Or if you want to find a prospect who'll spend even more money than the bored millionaire, look for keywords like...

        "my wife caught me cheating"

        "I forgot our anniversary"

        "I forgot wife's birthday"

It also doesn't have to be that obvious. And very rarely do you see high volume keywords like that.

layaways got a great list there.

To be honest, just make sure you keywords are relevant to your product and its likely you will have a buyer.

Be quiet harsh with yourself if they are buying keywords or not.

          e.g.
How do I train my dog. (suggests that the person is likely to buy a dog training course)
          BUT
Dog Training DVD (is a better buyer keyword and is likely to generate more purchases.)

I also look for coupons and promo's.

Buy now is one, review is good, model number.

    Great tips on this thread...
I usually type promo, coupons, if I can't find discounts, I just buy anyway.
