109,000 Views and 20,000 URL clicks-Is this article marketing success?

I think the big question here is how many sales or how much $$$ does 20,000 url clicks translate into?

Also, how many articles did it take to achieve those views?

One reason for you doing better with your own products would be that since you developed it yourself, you have a better understanding of it. Could you look at other affiliates to see how they are writing their articles? Perhaps they are using a different tone?

Well with ezinearticles I get about 24,000 hits alone!

And the sales from all of these articles?

I would say about $10,000

So, is this considered a success or not??

It all depends on the amount of time invested - you've got to calculate how long it took you to write & submit the articles.
If it took you a month,that means that you made $62.50 per hour invested at the equivalent of a 40-hour week.
As long as you can live your lifestyle on that income, keep some for the taxman and keep a bit more to reinvest in your business it's got to be good.

Hard to say if it's a success or not, because I'm not sure how much time and/or money you've spent on these articles. But if you've gotten 20,000 clicks from just 100 articles, that's really good! That's 200 clicks you are getting from every article. Think about how much money people are paying in adwords to get 200 clicks. (Obviously it varies on the niche).

But just based on this information, I think you're doing really good.

We need specifics, do you have an opt-in page?

Is it your product that gets alot of hits?

What price is the product?

If you don't get opt-ins then you wasted 20,000 clicks,

and if from that 20,000 you made 10k even by selling a 10$ product and only made 10 k that month from it you would only be getting a 5% conversion, sure you made a lot of money but before I let it get to 20 k hits I would of made a severe change to at least have my viewer-to-buyer percentage at atleast 10%+ and 15-20% ideally.

Having 10% would of netted you an extra 10 k, 15% another 10k, 20% another 10k.

Though if you used keywords that weren't targeted very well and simply made sales from large volumes then tweaking your page isn't going to work.

Test, test and test, and if you want criticizing give people specifics.

Wow! 109,000 Views should definitely result to atleast 100,000 clicks and 100,000 clicks should atleast result to 50,000 sales. That's a lot of money lying on the table. You have to work smarter!

so you're averaging 1000 views per article? First off, that's way above average. SO you are picking your titles and keywords correctly. and your getting a 20% ctr if you have around 20k clicks which is not bad.

Now you are successful at pulling in traffic. But if you made 0 sales from those clicks...who cares.

Breaking it down into percentages will make it easier to gauge whether it is effective or not. Success? well that can only be determined by you and what your perception of success is.
So far you have about an 18.35% CTR, which I think is pretty good.
$10 k in sales from those clicks means you are getting about .50 cents per visitor to your site but without knowing the cost of the product it's hard to work out what your conversion rate is.
You should probably split test a couple of different landing pages to see if one works better at converting the prospects.
